Diligently Assuring Quality

It's our goal to make perfect parts to our customers' specifications. We perform thorough inspections using our CMM, Comparator, and additional calibrated measuring devices. At CIM, responsibility for quality is in the hands of each and every one of our employees.

Quality at Computer Integrated Machining, Inc. means checking our work throughout all stages of production. When we receive a print, we carefully review all aspects before we give our customers a quote. We then schedule the production with our customers and begin programming. All jobs have binders that include prints, programming notes, material reports, Travelers, SPC and inspection reports. The part then goes into the production process where it is continually inspected. Finally, the finished parts are checked again, packaged carefully, and shipped to our customer.

Quality is our number one priority at CIM. We emphasize our Zero defects policy through incentive and demerit programs. We realize that delivery and pricing mean very little if parts are not to spec. Quality inspection reports are included with every part we ship, and the name of the final inspector is clearly identified on the part label and Certificate of Conformance. Printed CMM reports are also available upon request. All parts, including those requiring rapid turnaround, are thoroughly inspected before leaving our shop. We believe that consistency is required to satisfy stringent quality standards. We realize that each customer has several priorities that must be addressed in finding a successful machining vendor. We are very clear about our priorities at CIM and find that they align extremely well with the priorities of our customers.
